Pastor Matt Chilson
Matthew Chilson was born in Flint, MI on January 7, 1992, to Glenn and Angela Chilson. He has two older brothers, Jeremy and Darren and attended Indiana Wesleyan University after graduation. After one year at IWU, Matt received his call to ministry and attended Grace College & Theological Seminary. After his sophomore year in college, he was married to Brittani Kirkman. They both graduated in 2013, Matt with degrees in Youth Ministry and Business, Brittani with degrees in Counseling and Youth Ministry. Matt continued his education receiving a M.A. in Local Church Ministry from Grace College and Theological Seminary, a M.Div in Discipleship Ministries as well as a Th.M. in Biblical Studies from Liberty University. Pastor Matt and his family joined our church in July of 2014, with Pastor Matt becoming Senior Pastor in April 2018. Pastor Matt coaches boys basketball and girls soccer at the local high school. They have 5 children, Benjamin (9), Matti (7), Judah (4), Jolene (2) and Elias (7 months) as of July 2022 and are richly blessed!
